Dell Technologies World 2025 |
Vr pit stop challenge
BRIEF
Rentertainment was engaged by Dell Technologies and McLaren to provide our VR Pit Stop Challenge for the Dell Technologies World 2025. The conference was to be held from May 19th to May 22nd at The Venetian in Las Vegas. The conference was a showcase of the future of technology with industry leaders from across the globe.
The main objective was making sure the experience resembled the 2025 F1 McLaren car. We therefore had our development team customise our VR Pit Stop Challenge to create a replica of the 2025 F1 McLaren car. Our development team designed the new body and livery model for the 2025 season, featuring the latest Dell Alienware laptop hardware which added an important additional connection to the brand.
A leaderboard was a must to create some friendly competition!
ACTIVATION
The conference ran for three and a half days with a total of 37 active hours. We were allocated a floor space of 6m x 6m so four players could comfortably participate at the one time.
We provided training to four brand ambassadors during bump-in and we had one - two Rentertainment staff onsite at all times whilst the conference was running. This ensured the service ran smoothly with clear instructions and support provided for each participant.
OUTCOME
The VR Pit Stop generated significant excitement among guests, allowing them to get up close to the 2025 McLaren F1 car and compete as part of the Pit Team to try and achieve the fastest tire change time.
Over 1,000 attendees participated over the course of three and a half days and everything ran smoothly with no downtime or issues.
The Rentertainment team received positive feedback from both the participants and the clients, and we spoke about returning next year!
