World Time Attack Challenge is the world’s number one time-attack racing festival, and we were tasked with providing a custom VR Pit Stop Challenge for the guests.
We used our VR Pit Stop challenge, and then specifically developed the new Toyota Supra with Yokohama tyres, with their true to life tread patterns, and added custom internal and external car graphics, to make it just like the real thing!
The customised VR Pit Stop Challenge with intuitive controls, allowed guests of all ages to try their hand at the experience. A large floor decal of the Supra car themed the area well, and our branded leaderboard encouraged some serious competition among players.
It was an inviting space and encouraged all to give it a go. As a bonus the three fastest players scored themselves signed collectors’ items and merch!
It’s difficult to call the VR Pit Stop Challenge anything but a success for Yokohama and Rentertainment. Across the two days of World Time Attack Challenge players changed the tyres on the Yokohama Supra over 500 times!
The activation provided a unique and exciting experience for guests and importantly, tied seamlessly and directly with Yokohama’s products and brand.
