MELBOURNE BOAT SHOW | WALK THE PLANK
BRIEF
The Boating Industry Association of Victoria were looking for a way to add some interactive fun to their 2018 RACV Melbourne Boat Show, so they came to us with a brief.
The activation was to be family friendly, eye-catching to expo attendants, and fit in with the maritime theme. They wanted to allow guests the chance to try something fun and exciting while attending the expo!
ACTIVATION
We provided our Interactive Graffiti Wall, complete with a Green Screen to allow for guests to choose their photo backdrop out of Westpac’s variety of designs.
Guests had a blast snapping a photo and then using their inner artist to decorate themselves on the screen. Social sharing capabilities were added, and a competition encouraged guests to share their artwork on Instagram.
OUTCOME
Many photos were created across the two day event. Both the millenials from Day One, and the younger ones from Day Two’s kids event were entertained, and even those who didn’t step up for a photo were able to engage in the fun as they watched the large screen.
The Graffiti Wall stood out in the venue, attracting guests as they wondered what all the buzz was about, and the guests loved receiving a creative photo memory!
